Bravo Bakeshop
What it is: Greater Richmonders’ go-to spot for caffeine, confections, and catching up (on work or otherwise)
Why we love it: We love all of the city’s coffee shops, but it’s always nice when one pops up just outside Richmond proper, too. Suburbians can now visit this Ashland spot for doppio espressos, croissants au beurre, and more.
Where to find it: 278 N Washington Hwy (Ashland)

The Brooklyn
What it is: Where to go when you’re looking for mahogany grain along with a (very likely) killer menu
Why we love it: This spot is highly anticipated by Paige, especially, so she can promptly add it to her trifecta of deliciousness when she’s date-nighting around Scott’s. The owners of Lillian and Lost Letter (spots one and two of the aforementioned trifecta) are bringing to the neighborhood a cozy spot for wood-fired bites, low lights, high spirits, and then some.
Where to find it: 1616 Summit Ave (Scott’s Addition)

Cahoots
What it is: The place to visit when you need a long talk and long sip after a long week
Why we love it: You know we love a good name, and “Cahoots” nails it for this neighboorhood-feel bar that just opened in the Fan. We have a feeling this is gonna be the kinda place where everybody knows your name — start scheming for your seat as a regular.
Where to find it: 2526 Floyd Ave (The Fan)

Lineage Coffee Shop
What it is: An extension of one of our fave nifty-gifty shops in the area
Why we love it: First things first, we *love* Lineage Goods (Grapefruit & Fig Candle, in partic), so if this coming-soon spot is anything like its namesake retail shop, you can bet on it being swanky af. Look for your lattes and other handcrafted coffees here later this month.
Where to find it: 3308 W Clay St #2a (Scott’s Addition)

Pizzeria Mungo
What it is: Your new pizza-night-plans place
Why we love it: Around here, there’s been a brewery boom, a coffee roastery boom, a bagel shop boom, and now it seems like we can officially say there’s been a pizza restaurant boom — and TG for that. Mungo’s is where we’ll be going for a Double Pepperoni & Mushrooms pie ASAP.
Where to find it: 1017 N Arthur Ashe Blvd A (Scott’s Addition)
