Lululand Adventure Park

What it is: Our anticipated go-to during any April showers

Why we love it: This indoor amusement park has been all over our Explore page with its bright slides, games, and more. Suffice to say, we’ll be burning off some energy here from this long winter.

Where to find it: 4969 Nine Mile Rd (East End)

What it is: Some Petersburg deliciousness that’s made its way to a second location in Richmond

Why we love it: This new coffee shop is gorrrg from the jump, and menu items like Turkish coffee, baklava, and then some give us the vibe that we’ll be stopping by before and after we walk the mile of style in Carytown.

Where to find it: 3027 W Cary St (Carytown)

Brunchella Cafe

What it is: Where we’ll look forward to getting our caffeine and comfy fix

Why we love it: Brunch is our love language, and Brunchella Cafe clearly speaks it. Coffee, pastries, and a cozy lounge to enjoy it all in? Yeah, we’ll be there.

Where to find it: 3445 W Cary St (Carytown)

What it is: The latest venture from Alexa Schuett, who’s brought us Liberty Public House, Riverbend Roastery, and Chimborazo Sandwich Shoppe

Why we love it: We’re big fans of anything Alexa has brought to the Richmond table, but Riverbend is one of our favorite of the faves, so when we heard the restaurateur was rolling out another coffee shop, we didn’t need to hear much else. The spot is cutesy and has Joe and sweet treats. Please and thank you VERY much.

Where to find it: 1301 N 32nd St (Church Hill)

Inaugural Richmond Ren Faire

What it is: Richmond’s first, and highly anticipated, renaissance faire

Why we love it: We love firsts, and this one promises a multicultural exploration of the artisan ages in RVA’s style. Tickets are hot; snag one if you can, and make plans in advance for next year if you can’t.

Where to find it: 2999 Darbytown Rd (Varina)
