GardenFest of Lights
*Millions* of colorful lights thread throughout Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden for this literal winter wonderland of an event, along with decorated trees, model trains, hot cocoa, s’mores, and lots more.

The Big Turkey Trot
Little Hands Virginia puts on its first turkey trot this year! Round up your home team for a morning full of charity, festive fitness, and community spirit before you head back to your cozy headquarters and have an afternoon of full bellies and fuller hearts. All proceeds benefit this wonderful org, which helps provide essentials for Richmond’s littlest ones.
Location: 1800 Lakeside Ave (Lakeside)

Model Railroad Show
Science Museum of Virginia hosts this fan-favorite exhibit with all the bells and whistles — literally. Featuring an entire room full of elaborate train displays created by private hobbyists from across Virginia, the Model Railroad Show showcases scaled locomotives riding through intricate landscapes and miniature cities, making it an especially great way for you and the extended fam to spend time together after this month’s turkey holiday.
