Experience the magic of Garden Glow presented by Kroger, Maymont's largest annual fundraiser and one of Richmond's favorite fall experiences. Spectacular light displays transform Maymont after dark into an unforgettable evening of color and light. 

Wander the illuminated Glow Path sponsored by Kinsale Capital Group featuring larger-than-life displays, explore the rainbow of color in the Japanese Garden after dark, then gather around cozy fire pits in Glow Village with your whole crew. Enjoy local food trucks, Glow Bars sponsored by CoStar Group, seasonal treats and glowing photo opportunities. 

Your support and Garden Glow ticket proceeds help Maymont care for its historic mansion, sprawling gardens and resident animals.

Notice: Weekend evenings often sell out in advance. Tickets may not be available upon arrival. Purchase your tickets online before traveling to Maymont for guaranteed entry. If purchasing tickets onsite, please note that Maymont events are cashless.

Know Before You Glow

Start and end your illuminating night at The Robins Nature Center. Utilize a one of our three convenient paid parking lots or explore other options below. Plan for approximately 90 minutes to experience Garden Glow. The glowing pathway is a little over a mile long and includes the rugged Woodland Trail, which allows guests to travel to and from the Japanese Garden. For guests who have mobility issues and need an alternative to the Woodland Trail, please take advantage of our complimentary shuttle. Find more tips on how to prepare below.
