Halcyon Vintage
This spot in The Fan was recently voted Best Vintage Clothing Shop by Richmond magazine, and it features mostly clothing from the 1980s and earlier, so it’s a great option for anyone looking for a period costume. I walked away with a trench coat I didn’t know I needed, and you might just find yourself similarly inspired.

Ashby
Ashby is great for curated thrifting year-round, but this popular spot could come in handy if you’re aiming for a more modern look. Because its inventory trends younger, it’s the perfect spot to recreate current style trends. There was even a dedicated section of Halloween finds at the front of the store when I stopped in.
