What’s that in the air? Could it possibly be… a slight chill? FINALLY. Swampy summer heat has at last given way to this highly anticipated sweater weather. To help you make the most of this fleeting interlude, here’s my list of the fall season’s most important accessory — fall bevs!

Petit Four
Did you know that Jardin (known for its wine patio) doubles as a bakery and coffee shop? If you haven’t met Jardin’s early bird alter ego, you need to stop by Petit Four. Along with its seasonal drink menu, they bake sourdough breads, baguettes, and pastries fresh daily, so you’ll always have an accompaniment for your coffee. Stick around until 3, and they’ll transition to wine service, where you can get seasonal wine offerings by the glass or bottle.

This Bon Air coffee spot always has an extensive list of offerings, but the seasonal cocktails and coffee flights are the highlights here. Look for something as cute as the Ghoulish Delights featuring the Graveyard Smash Latte, Bloody Velvet Latte, Ghostly Gourd Latte, and Cookies ’n Scream Affogato — gummy worms, cheese icing cold foam, and more included.

I opted for the Farmhouse Pumpkin when I visited in September, but my true faves are the gingerbread offerings that come later! A little birdie told me that we can expect them to start rolling out in October.

Uliveto
The rotating cocktail menu at Uliveto never misses. I opted for the Harvest Spritz, since I’m a sucker for an apple bev, and it did not disappoint! Expect bold autumn flavors that pair effortlessly with its seasonal plates.

Dogs and drinks? Say less. If you want a two-in-one activity (exercise your dog while getting a social hour in for yourself), swing by this membership-based dog park (day passes are available, as well). From a Pawmkin Spice Latte to a Sniffin’ S’mores mocha, they have their humans well taken care of, too.

Fall Line Kitchen & Bar
A perfect stop during a night out downtown, Fall Line has dropped its fall cocktail menu! Bessie’s Sidecar did not disappoint this apple lover. Pro tip: they’ll validate your garage parking if you’re struggling to find a spot on the street!

The Purrfect Bean
The downstairs café at the Purrfect Bean is completely separate from the upstairs Cat Lounge, so you can stop in anytime it’s open without a kitty-time reservation! Their fall menu features unique offerings, from a Sweet Potato Catserole Latte to a Hoax and Hex Houjicha. Color me intrigued!
