It might be cuffing season, but this guide is something to reference all year long. The Richmond area’s always got great ways for you to get out and about with your significant other — and keep things budget-friendly.

Daily (or *almost* daily)

Bacchus

If Italian food is on the brain, consider Bacchus. Between 5 and 6:30 pm, Sunday through Thursday, the intimate bar and eatery boasts the option of a bottle of wine paired with any two entrées for $45.

Brambly Park

We’ve talked about our love for Brambly’s Parmesan-Truffle Fries countless times, and now you have even more reason to make them part of your dinner plans. The urban winery’s date-night deal includes two entrées, an appetizer (ahem, those fries we just mentioned) or a dessert, and a bottle of Brambly wine, for pick-up or dine-in, every day after 7:30 pm.

Garnett’s

There are few things cuter than a picnic lunch, but Garnett’s offers that and then some. Head to the café any night of the week, between 6 and 9 pm, to snag two menu items and a bottle of wine or a pitcher of beer for $35 altogether.

Get Tight Lounge

Monday through Friday, from 11 am to 4 pm, get right and get tight (as they say) with this spot’s pit sandwich, fries, and a drink for $10. BTW, if the date’s going well, keep things running smoothly into happy hour, which happens from 4:20 to 6 pm — $2.50 Modelos, $3 rails, $5 Happy Meals, $3 glasses of sweet vermouth, $4 glasses of wine, $8 half-pounds of shrimp, $8 pit-slider trios, and $1 pickled eggs.

Wednesdays

Bingo Beer Co

Every Wednesday, Bingo Beer Co offers $3 off large pizzas and half off pitchers. Play games, chow down, repeat.

The Caboose

This half market, half farm-to-table café offers a whole lot of a good deal. Spend 50 bucks when you visit and get a bottle of wine and a three-course dinner featuring a charcuterie board, two entrées, and dessert.

Laura Lee’s

For $50 here, you can get the pasta special, which serves two and comes with a salad and your choice of red or white wine. If you need more deets, keep an eye on social media or call the restaurant itself to see what the pasta dish is before you go!

The Mayor
