Stanley’s wedge salad
We all know and love Stanley’s for the hoagies and Philly cheesesteaks, but listen… I genuinely think they might have the best salad in Richmond. Their wedge is elite: absolutely drenched in ranch and loaded with blue cheese crumbles, bacon, egg, pickled red onion — the works. There’s even a vegan option if that’s your thing. Pro tip: split the wedge and a sando and thank me later. It’s the move.

Undeniable: The Designs of Christian Siriano & Ashley Longshore at The Branch Museum of Design
Y’all. This exhibition is STUNNING. It brings together CFDA designer Christian Siriano and pop-art powerhouse Ashley Longshore — two creatives who don’t just break rules, they rewrite them. Siriano’s section feels like stepping straight onto the runway. You’ll see iconic red-carpet looks worn by Beyoncé, Halle Berry, Céline Dion, Zendaya, Michael Urie… the craftsmanship, the drama, the silhouettes — every single piece hits. Picking a favorite? Impossible.
Then you step into Ashley Longshore’s world, and it’s a full-on technicolor dream. Floor-to-ceiling color, confidence, and that unmistakable Longshore punch. Her art becomes the backdrop for even more Siriano looks worn by icons like Billy Porter, Oprah, Lady Gaga, and Jane Fonda. You’ll even spot the dress Siriano designed specifically for Ashley.

Sun & Selene pinky ring
You already know we love Sun & Selene. Owner Brittanny DeRaffele is pure talent, a great friend, and we’ll always hype her stunning jewelry and incredible business. I recently went to her Celestial Sips event — a dreamy sip-and-shop she did with Kennedy from Calls for a Bottle — and immediately fell for one of her newest pieces: the TRUE NORTH // floating diamond stacker. I had it sized on the spot for my pinky and I haven’t taken it off since. Obsessed doesn’t even cover it.

Fighting Fish sushi burrito
I have long been meaning to get over to Fighting Fish to fix my seemingly ever-present sushi craving, and Valentine’s Day presented the perfect opp. The spot usually puts out a heart-shaped box filled with sushi bites, and while I was placing my order for that, I decided to add on a sushi burrito, too. For research! It was all delish, and for those of you who might be a little skeptical of the concept, the proportions of fish to other yumminess was just right. Get the Pepperito if you, too, are a spice lover.

Triple Crossing Beer Falcon Smash
My sisters and I try to get a Mellow Mushroom date night on the calendar as often as we can, and whenever it’s time to order our drinks before we get back to yapping and forget to decide what to order for dinner, I like to peruse the local brews. The Falcon Smash seemed like it would pair perfectly with some pizza, and I was right. Crisp, bright, citrusy — I would’ve ordered another round, but it’s got a 7% ABV and I didn’t want my storytelling hand gestures to get too out of control and accidentally slap a sister or anything.

Andre’ Julius
Wrapping up our review of our experience at Andre’ Julius here, and I can confirm Andre’ Julius: Pt 2 was as outstanding as Andre’ Julius: Pt 1. Our suits are STUNNING and fit like, well, extremely well-tailored suits. We worked with Andre’ throughout the design process to start, but I was still blown away by how fabulous everything turned out. I plan to wear mine for an upcoming panel I’m moderating, and I may need to plan for extra getting-dressed time, just so I can fawn over the lining, in partic, again.
