A few to-dos in partic that caught our eyes
Ultimate Dinosaurs
Science Museum of Virginia’s latest exhibit is now open and entertaining for adults and kiddos alike. Ultimate Dinosaurs features 17 massive dinosaur skeletons, real fossils, and interactive augmented reality experiences, highlighting prehistoric species from South America, Africa, and Madagascar — dinos who look totally different from the ones you grew up learning about. Enjoy the exhibit and don’t forget to take in family-friendly things like Minds of All Kinds, a less crowded environment for hands-on, dinosaur-themed activities designed to pique curiosity and inspire discovery.

Cost: $17.50+ (kids 2 and under get in free)

Front Lawn Fun
On Tuesdays this summer, Virginia Museum of History & Culture adds a historical touch to playtime. Head to the Museum District for a morning of fun and games on the spot’s front lawn. Think: lawn bowling, balls and cups, and stick horse races, nodding to the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution.

Date & time: Tuesdays, June - August; 10 am - 12 pm
Amazing Tails Scavenger Hunt
This interactive, community-driven afternoon benefits the Richmond SPCA and invites teams of up to five participants to solve clues and complete challenges while exploring Carytown. Registration closes on June 13, so get your fam on the on the list if you want to join in on the furry fun. Each team receives swag bags filled with goodies from local shops in the neighborhood.
