You know what they say: exercise a cabin fever. JK; we just made that up, but the sentiment is strong, and you will be, too, if you incorporate a little sweat sesh into your inside time. Triangle Rock Club, BOHO Studios, and TAOU Studio are some of our favorite places to move within the comfort of a temperature- and weather-controlled environment.

Dig for treasure at a local thrift shop
Imagine raining, and we’re just shopping nostalgic neon at Mid Century Morris, lol. The Scott’s Addition treasure trove of furniture, lighting, and home accessories is by appointment only, but Class & Trash and West End Thrift — two of our other favorite places to sustainably shop — are open regularly, rain or shine.

When we’re staying in, we’re heating up Bombolini Pasta’s frozen eggplant parmesan. When we’re going out, we’re ordering up Spaghetti à la Joe from Joe’s Inn. Or, when we’re feeling more like soup girlies, we’re going out for a heaping bowl of Can Can Brasserie’s Onion Soup Gratinée — between that and the spot’s string lighting, you’ll find us rainy-day VIBING.
