First Stop Donuts
You may not expect doughnuts and a school bus to be a winning combination, but First Stop proves that it is. They serve hot, fresh apple cider doughnuts out of their school bus named Flubert all around Richmond. Catch them at RVA Big Farmers Market or South of the James Market on the weekend, and grab a half dozen for $9 or make it a dozen for $13.

The Treat Shop
The Treat Shop starts with doughnuts and then… keeps going. We’re talking funnel cakes, breakfast sandwiches, seasonal sweets — the kind of place where you go in with a plan and leave with at least one thing you didn’t mean to order. Everything is made fresh, and the menu rotates often enough to keep you coming back for more.

Oh! Mochi
If you haven’t had a mochi doughnut before, let this be your sign to give them a try. They’re soft and chewy and come in flavors like matcha, ube, and black sesame alongside the classics. They’re smaller and lighter than your average doughnut, so it’s easy to justify having waaaaay more than one.
