Here’s a quick recap of the laws and typical rules throughout Richmond: Dogs are not permitted inside restaurants due to food safety issues. It is at the discretion of the restaurant whether or not dogs are permitted on their patios. Dogs are typically allowed inside breweries (as long as they are not serving food — the breweries, not the dogs), but not all breweries want dogs inside.
