Richmond’s oldest and longest-running food festival returns for a family-friendly weekend of Armenian delicacies and culture Oct. 3 and 4.
The 65th Annual Armenian Food Festival features food prepared by members of St. James Armenian Church.
Taste chicken shish kabobs, cheese boreg, Armenian meat pies, stuffed grape leaves, mouth-watering pastries, and the famous and original Hye Burger — named one of Richmond’s best burgers on voter lists.
The festival also features traditional music and dancing. Armenian beer and wine are available. Admission is free, pay as you go.
Everyone is welcome Friday and Saturday. The festival is held at the corner of Pepper and Patterson avenues, at 834 Pepper Ave.
