Glass House on Hyco Lake

A few of us at Campfire & Co. stayed here for a retreat and we fell in LOVE with the original mid-century architecture, lake views, and endless options for a cozy fire. Did we mention there’s a hot tub? It’s basically heaven.

Pro tip: If this one is booked, the owners have another slightly bigger rental also on the lake with similar modern vibes.

This private and peaceful modern studio in the woods is one of the first modern Airbnbs we found and saved. It’s a popular one, so you have to book a well in advance, but it’s worth it for the beautiful architecture and details. We love the library nook and wood stove!

We are suckers for a good A-frame in the woods. This cutie is a bit more rustic and playful, but we love its chill vibes, cozy living room, and covered back porch. Not to mention, she’s only an hour’s drive from Richmond!
