A few to-dos in partic that caught our eyes
Stony Point On Ice
Ice skating at Rockefeller Center is still going strong and so is ice skating at Stony Point Fashion Park — but the latter is just down the road. Head to the outdoor shopping center for wintertime fun, then warm up with something to eat or drink at the many nearby, visit-worthy restaurants. The spot offers skate aids for especially little ones and your ticket includes skate rentals, too. So you can pack light(ish), to boot!
Location: 9200 Stony Point Pkwy (Stony Point)
Cost: $16 per ticket
Dates & times: Daily, now through Monday, January 19; 11 am - 6 pm

Lights Up!
RVA wouldn’t be much without its artists, and RPAA makes certain the region’s local creatives — of today *and* tomorrow — have the programs, resources, and spaces they need to thrive. We’ve had the chance before to pop over to the Perkinson Center, where RPAA hosts its ongoing Genworth Lights Up! Youth Series sessions. These FREE performances and workshops offer Richmond’s aspiring art-mavens an outlet for paving their own inventive paths. If you have a kiddo who’s interested in the arts, def put an upcoming Saturday sesh on your radar.
Location: 11810 Centre St (Chester)
Cost: Free to attend
Date & time: Saturday, January 31; 10 am
