Generally speaking, Prince George County encompassed an area from where the Appomattox River joins the James River, south and west of the North Carolina line and to the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Today this area is divided into 17 counties and four cities. Prince George County is rich in history from the first days of Captain John Smith’s exploration of the new world through the Civil War.

Swaders Sports Park
Swaders Sports Park has it all! With laser tag, go-karts, mini golf, an arcade, arcade-style bowling, a driving range, golf lessons, batting cages, and a kid zone, there’s something for everyone.

Tree Time Adventures
Tree Time Adventures is an outdoor adventure park and fitness center. It has eight zip lines, almost 60 obstacle bridges, a kid’s obstacle course, rock climbing, two nature trails, and axe throwing.

Jordan Point Marina
Located at the southern foot of the Benjamin Harrison Bridge, the Jordan Point Marina provides easy access to both protected, tidal fresh water and the Chesapeake Bay. Under new management in 2021, Jordan Point Marina is undergoing a face-lift! It offers boat sales, service, storage, and repairs as a full-service marina. The marina features a fully stocked ship’s store, transient/permanent slips, restroom/shower facilities, concrete ramps, a 25-ton travel lift, hull and engine repairs, a snack bar and grill, kayak rentals, and pontoon boat rentals.
Kayak Rentals: Spend a few hours or the whole day paddling and exploring the calm waters of the James River. Catch some rays, and discover the natural beauty of the local waterway. Reference their self-guided tour map for kayaking hot-spots nearby. This is a great activity that is safe for the whole family!
Pontoon Rentals: Enjoy a beautiful day on the water in one of their 2021 Tahoe Grand Island GT Cruise 2580s. This Pontoon has a 115 Mercury engine and can seat up to ten people. It comes equipped with a Bimini top for shade, and fuel is included in the pricing. The boats are pet friendly, and you can also fish from the boat.

Perfect Picks Flower Farm
The Perfect Picks Flower Farm is a pick-your-own flower farm that offers a colorful side of agriculture. Fields with a variety of blooms will be available for a pick-your-own opportunity and scenic views.

James River National Wildlife Refuge
The refuge offers important breeding and roosting habitat for resident and migrating eagles. In addition, the 4,400-acre refuge supports hundreds of native plant and animal species in the forests, wetlands, and grasslands.

SplatBrothers Paintball
General Admission or Open Games, commonly known as walk-ons, are open to the public, and no reservations are required. Games are divided between advanced and beginner players, with multiple games running simultaneously. Participants will play on different fields throughout the day. General admission is good for the entire day and includes compressed-air fills. Rental equipment is available. Just show up and play!
