Celebrate Juneteenth 2026 at These Local Events
BY THE RVAX TEAM
Juneteenth (celebrated annually on June 19) is a holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved persons in the United States. While the holiday was initially observed in Texas in 1865, it has since been recognized as a national holiday — and we are grateful for many local opportunities to join this celebration of freedom and liberation here in Richmond this year.
