The Black Pine, Hollywood Cemetery Themed

We could use these words to describe every last detail of this house. The Spanish tile, rare artwork, eclectic curiosities, new renovations, great location, or luxury amenities.

But that would be missing the point. Because this house is not about its location or the stuff it contains, it's about you. And what happens when you truly connect with the spirit of a place and time.

Located in Oregon Hill.

Sharp’s Island, a Camping Experience

One-of-a-kind really only begins to describe the 1-acre land that is Sharp's Island! For starters, this is the only legal camping option in the city of Richmond. You read that correctly. This is your own private island, and it's right in the heart of downtown RVA!

Located in the James River, you can motor up to it from Ancarrow's Landing in your johnboat or you can canoe over from the trail just below Mayo Bridge or make this the destination for your downriver raft/kayak trip.

You choose your own campsite — a sandy beach or forested interior, or roll out a sleeping back inside the tiny A-frame cabin or glamping tent already set up for guests. At summer river levels there are dozens of great swimming holes along the banks (they can sell you tubes for lounging). Always check the Westham Guage before heading out onto the James River. For novice paddlers, it is recommended that you avoid getting out on the river when levels are above 6.5’.
