Celebrate the reopening of Maymont’s beloved Virginia Wildlife Trail, a forever home for rescued and rehabilitated native wildlife nestled in a forested 40-acre valley in the heart of Richmond.

After a two-year enhancement project, explore the new and remodeled habitats, with more accessible pathways, new interpretive signs and more ways to view our wildlife residents.

Say hi to our newest residents, two porcupines and a coyote! Plus, revisit old friends like Finnley the fox — and see his upgraded habitat!
