Readers of all ages, you won't want to miss this one! Sarah is launching her newest middle grade book at 1312 E Cary St with Diana Peterfreund!
The Monster Manual is not a bedtime story. It’s a field guide to the beasts that slither, skulk, and stalk when the lights go out. Collected by vanished monster-hunters and forbidden to be printed—until now—these pages contain the truth grown-ups won’t admit: monsters are real.
From vampires and goblins to witches and werewolves, this creep-tacular book serves as a guide to the history of monsters and offers information on how and where to find these mythical beings, as well as descriptions and tales of human contact with them over time. Complete with interactive elements like quizzes (“What’s Your Monster Personality?”), activities/crafts (brew a witch’s potion), and survival warnings from those who dared to hunt these creatures down, this compendium is your only hope—should you find yourself face-to-face with something that should not exist.
