The Electric Seance is an immersive concert experience where songs of the past are summoned back to life. This Halloween season, HOTPANTS will channel the restless spirit of Bob Dylan, while BLACKWOOD STATION conjures the timeless magic of The Beatles. The event will happen in 2 acts, with each band performing a full set of their chosen artist's work.

HOTPANTS is a band from Richmond, Virginia. Their music uniquely blends rootsy rock and roll with the sweet sincerity of Americana, resulting in something that sounds familiar yet fresh. Founded by singer-songwriter Mackenzie Roark, HOTPANTS has spent the past four years making waves across the Mid-Atlantic, performing at Bristol Rhythm and Roots, Red Wing Roots Festival, and winning FloydFest’s 2024 “On-the-Rise” Competition. Described by RnR Magazine as “one of America’s finest and least formulaic Americana combos,” HOTPANTS is committed to the DIY spirit of self-producing and releasing real, heartfelt music, and delivering electrifying live shows in Virginia and beyond.
