RVA Classical Underground aims to bring professional classical musicians together to share their talents in support of local arts organizations. At each of our musical variety shows, we feature a different Richmond arts organization and provide a platform for them to speak about their mission. Our musicians volunteer their time and skill, sharing music that they love, while ticket sales for each show go to the featured organization. Audiences can expect to hear solo and chamber works performed by a variety of instruments and voices by composers both old and new.

For our April 2026 show, we are excited to partner with the Richmond Pops Band! The Richmond Pops is a community based, non-profit, all volunteer concert band that has been providing exciting and dynamic musical experiences to the community for over 45 years. Pay-what-you-will ticket sales for this show are being collected by the Richmond Philharmonic Orchestra, and 100% of the proceeds will go to the Richmond Pops to support their efforts.
