National Craft Open Studios Weekend

Celebrate the art of handmade craftsmanship during National Craft Open Studios Weekend, a nationwide event where artists open their studios to the public for free behind-the-scenes tours, live demonstrations, and the chance to shop one-of-a-kind creations.

Across Virginia, 18 participating artists and studios—including several in the Richmond area—will welcome visitors into their workspaces to showcase ceramics, glass, woodworking, textiles, ironwork, and more. It's a unique opportunity to watch artists at work, learn about their creative process, and support local makers.
