Led by a Maymont historic interpreter, this 90-minute tour explores the original estate buildings, Italian Garden, Japanese Garden and surrounding landscape. Learn what Maymont looked like before it became a public park, why the property has two waterfalls and how its historic features worked together as part of James and Sallie Dooley’s home.

The tour includes historic buildings, gardens and landscape features throughout the grounds.
Capacity is limited to 20 guests per tour. Advance registration is recommended.
Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended.
