Find something new for your garden – and all your tried-and-true favorites, too – as Richmond’s favorite plant sale, Herbs Galore, springs up at Maymont!

Bring a wagon and shop from dozens of nurseries and specialty vendors spread out on the 6-acre Carriage House Lawn offering an amazing array of annuals, perennials, trees and vegetables, plus garden-inspired accessories and gifts.

On the main stage, plant experts will present demos and talks, between sets of entertaining music from the Richmond Indigenous Gourd Orchestra. Budding young gardeners can learn and play with hands-on crafts and activities at the Education Station.

Make a day of it! Park your purchases at the free plant holding area and explore! The gardens and grounds at Maymont will be in lush bloom, and audio tours of the Italian Garden are free for the event. Once you've worked up an appetite, enjoy a selection of local food and beverage.
