Take a break from the workday and enjoy live music and frozen treats in Downtown Richmond with Venture Richmond’s new lunchtime pop-up series, Frozen Treats, Live Beats.

This free pop-up series brings eight live music performances to different locations throughout Downtown Richmond and Manchester, making it easy to step away from the desk, meet up with coworkers, and enjoy a little live music during the lunch hour.

The series takes place on select Thursdays from 12:00–1:00 PM.

The first 100 attendees at each event will receive a free frozen treat. Most locations will feature Richmond favorite Gelati Celesti, serving a complimentary scoop of their handcrafted ice cream. The May 7 pop-up will feature a free sweet treat from Daisy's.

After the first 100 treats are claimed, additional frozen treats will be available for purchase.

May 21: Chris Leggett is a writer and singer, born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. Since 2019 Leggett has fronted Americana/Roots outfit Chris Leggett & The Copper Line. The group has released two full-length albums, and supported the likes of Sierra Ferrell, Anders Osborne, Neal Francis, and more. Leggett makes music for the sake of making music, in hopes of evoking emotion from each listener.
