Celebrate Earth Month by enjoying a family friendly, activity-packed festival exploring sustainability, natural resources and environmental science.
On April 18, we’re filling up the Dewey Gottwald Center with nearly 30 community partners ready with hands-on activities to help your family learn all about watersheds, forestry, native plants, conservation efforts, recycling, bike infrastructure, floodplains, birds and much more!
In addition to the Earth Day partner activities, you’ll be able to enjoy Science Museum demos, labs and exhibitions, including the final weekend of The Power of Poison! Take a guided tour of The Green with our staff horticulturist and discover the behind-the-scenes insights that make this space flourish.
The Science Museum is open from 9:30 a.m.–5 p.m. Earth Day activities take place from 12–5 p.m. in the Dewey Gottwald Center. Activities are designed for guests of all ages.
Our Earth Day celebration is sponsored by Meta.
