Whatever you go with, wash it down with a cold one. It’s pizza *and* beer of Richmond, after all.

Pizza Bones

The owner’s dream for this spot in Union Hill was "baked goods in the morning, pizza party at night," and if that doesn’t sum up the perfection of it all, the picnic-table patio seating; part dining room, part wine shop (Friend Bar); and shimmering disco ball ought to do the trick.

But then, of course, there is the pizza: The crust is crispy, yet doughy. There’s juiciness involved when it comes to the sauce and melted cheese. And the topping options are simple in a way that is exactly right, not skimpy. (We recommend ordering your pie with onion and pepperoni, by the way.) And if you go on Industry Night (see: Monday night, currently) and you work in education, health, or food and beverage, let them know when you order in person and you'll score 15% off your tab.

Location: 2314 Jefferson Ave (Union Hill)
