Want to consistently give back to your community? The Richmond Community ToolBank is your answer! We're a local nonprofit that lends tools to other nonprofits. This means they get the equipment they need for volunteer projects and keeping their facilities in shape, all year long. By providing tools, we help charitable organizations in the greater Richmond area do more good and get more hands-on volunteers involved.
How You Can Help
We rely heavily on volunteers like you! Our small staff benefits greatly from volunteers of all skill levels helping out in the warehouse. This allows us to better serve our nonprofit partners.
Volunteer tasks include:
Preparing tool orders: Getting tools ready for pickup.
Restocking tools: Putting tools back after they've been returned.
Tool maintenance: Cleaning, branding, and sharpening tools.
Warehouse upkeep: Keeping the space tidy and organized.
Inventory management: Sorting and counting tools
Whether you're an individual, a group, or looking to volunteer regularly, we welcome you—no experience necessary!
We'll see you at the ToolBank Warehouse - 1407 Cummings Dr, Richmond, VA 23220. All tools & materials are provided by us. Wear comfortable & warm clothing + close-toed shoes
