Quit your day job requires a finger on the pulse of what it is to be an actual living creative today. It's for those of us who make because it's the only thing we can do. For the spoonies, the neurospicy and the caregivers. It's for the makers that need community, support, and a place to be authentically and passionately themselves.
Who is eligible to apply?
- Full time Makers
- Gig/freelance workers (3 jobs in a trenchcoat)
- Part time makers who need to vend every month to make ends meet
- New artists with day jobs that make a very unique and affordable product and have a stellar local digital presence and iconic branding
- Vendors who know where the application link can be found
Who should not apply?
- Vendors who have not previously participated in an RVA Makers Market with us in Manchester
- Hobbyists
- Makers who don't need to work in January
- Anyone working off purchased patterns/molds (crochet, cricut, 3d printing, laser, resin)
- Makers in saturated categories that are too labor and time intensive to make a living wage (ex. If it takes you 6 hours to make an item and you're charging $30 for said item, sit this one out.)
