Join us to celebrate the Harvest Moon and abundance you've created with a year's hard work. A prominent celebration in Eastern Asian culture, Harvest Moon holiday has many names, Choo-Seok (추석) in Korean being one of them.
Sarah Choi of Kismet Ventures, Shaman Sisters and I am & Jewelry has asked friends and partners to create a great night market to enjoy the beautiful Shalom Farm grounds conveniently located in the Northside of Richmond (1311 Westwood Avenue), to gather with community and learn and celebrate our different cultures.
Kids of all ages are welcome. There will be a bounce house and some kids' activities as Sarah's 7-year-old complained "There is nothing to do for kids at the farm here." Sarah likes to remind him that 100 years ago, he would have been a legit farm hand at 7, but he is lucky he got a bounce house instead.
Nam Prik Pao, Noah's Rocking Steam Buns and Blue Bee Cider will be on site to provide delicious food and fall ciders perfect for the season.
