Mark your calendars for Celebrate Trails Day on April 25th!

Hosted each year on the fourth Saturday of April, Celebrate Trails Day was launched in 2013 by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy as a nationwide spring celebration of America’s incredible trails and trail systems. It’s a day to get outside, explore, and show some love to the places that connect our communities.

Here’s how we’re celebrating on the Virginia Capital Trail:

Group Ride to the Dorey Park Farmers Market
Roll out from Richbrau Brewing at 9:30 AM for a group ride with a return around Noon. Register at https://bit.ly/C2CGroupRides2026

Pop-Up Rest Stops
Swing by Dorey Park and Breez-In from 10 AM–1 PM for refreshments, treats, and some fun giveaways.

Trailwide Spring Cleanup
