This group was popular so we're bringing it back, but better!
Join your facilitator Reebha Aggarwal, MSW, Supervisee in Social Work for this special group therapy offering.
This group combines the therapeutic benefits of art-making with mindfulness practices to help participants develop greater emotional awareness, reduce stress, and cultivate a sense of present-moment connection.
Through a series of creative activities, participants will be encouraged to explore their thoughts, emotions, and body sensations in a non-judgmental, supportive environment.
Each session will incorporate mindfulness techniques, such as deep breathing, focused attention, and body awareness, alongside artistic expression to promote relaxation, self-discovery, and personal growth.
The group will focus on the process of creating art, rather than the end result, fostering an experience of mindfulness through various artistic mediums such as drawing, painting, collage, and sculpture.
Participants will be guided to express themselves freely and authentically, using art as a tool for exploration, self-reflection, and emotional regulation. Group members will also have the opportunity to share their experiences, insights, and artworks in a safe, confidential space, enhancing connection and support within the group dynamic.
Whether you’re new to art-making or a seasoned artist, this group offers a welcoming environment where participants can engage in mindfulness and creative expression to promote mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
This group is limited to 8 participants, so claim your spot today!
Due to limited space, no refunds will be offered for no-show's or late cancellations (within 48 hours of the first group session group).
