We are pleased to welcome you back to Chefs’ Cook-Off Challenge, our signature spring fundraising event in support of Commonwealth Autism Programs. This year’s event will feature exceptional food, friendly competition, and an evening centered on community and impact.

The Competition

Chefs’ Cook-Off Challenge brings together talented culinary experts ready to impress.

  • The Altria Theater culinary team will showcase their skills as they take on the competition with Chef Zachary Guiterrez.

  • Additional chefs will be announced soon!

Guests will enjoy creative dishes as chefs compete for top honors, celebrating the artistry and joy of great food.

More Than a Meal

Chefs’ Cook-Off Challenge is about more than what’s on the plate. The evening will also include:

  • A panel discussion highlighting Commonwealth Autism Programs’ mission and impact

  • A silent auction featuring curated items and experiences

  • An immersive learning experience designed to deepen understanding of autism

Proceeds from the event support Commonwealth Autism Programs and our commitment to advancing equity, opportunity, and inclusion for autistic and neurodivergent people across Virginia.

Chefs’ Cook-Off Challenge will take place at the historic Altria Theater in downtown Richmond. For nearly a century, this beloved landmark has brought people together through shared experiences in the arts and community life. With its timeless architecture and modern amenities, Altria Theater provides a welcoming and memorable setting for our event — a place where great food, meaningful conversation, and community connection can flourish.
